Parcul tematic Ion Creangă, situat exact lângă casa memorială a marelui povestitor, completează și îmbogățește de minune lumea tradițională a satului humuleștean, precum și lumea fantastică a poveștilor. Într-un spațiu relativ restrâns, dar unde fiecare pas aduce noutăți, descoperim personaje și repere din ”Amintirile din copilărie” (mătușa Mărioara, Moș Chiopec ciobotarul, calul bălan, vatra cu motocei cu care se jucau mâțele etc.), dar și din povești (Ursul păcălit de vulpe, Punguța cu doi bani, Capra cu trei iezi etc.). Alături, adăpostită în cea mai mare parte într-o casă aranjată tradițional, se găsește o colecție etnografică originală, de mare valoare, cu exponatele grupate după îndeletniciri. Impresionează naturalețea și măiestria cu care au fost realizate personajele și modul cum acestea reușesc să reconstituie lumea reală și imaginară a lui Creangă, dovedind in partea realizatorilor acestui parc o mare dragoste pentru autentic.
